About

Welcome to The Lantern Room Library, a space dedicated to thoughtful learning, reflective study, and the evolving world of librarianship.

My name is Nadia, and I bring experience from both early childhood education and library studies. I hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, have worked with young learners for several years, and am currently midway through a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood). Alongside this, I am completing a Diploma of Library and Information Services through Box Hill Institute. These pathways shape my understanding of how people engage with information and how literacy develops across different stages of life.

The Lantern Room Library brings together my interests in early literacy, archiving, and the role libraries play in connecting history, education, and community. Through reflections, resources, and insights drawn from my studies and the literary and library events I attend, this space grows as I do. Shaped by curiosity, practice, and a love of learning.

Here, readers, students, and emerging professionals can explore ideas and develop their practice at a steady, thoughtful pace. One page, one thought, one conversation at a time.
